    Add me to the list of people who recently had it done and want to assure those awaiting it that everything is fine. I had it done yesterday and had been stressing over it all week. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. It's over before you know it and I never felt any ill effects from it afterwards at all. The worst of it was the numbing spray they use before the procedure, it tastes awful. The rest of it was as easy as falling asleep and waking up. If I ever have to have this done again I won't be worried in the slightest

    Just had this done yesterday! As a strong man who’s not really scared of anything, this shook me. Only because I didn’t know what to expect. But honestly, I would do this again. I didn’t feel anything at all. Upper and lower. Once they put the insert piece for you to bite on, you’re pretty much sleep 4 seconds later. I went under at about 12:15 and Woke up about 12:45 and couldn’t believe how easy this was. Please don’t be scared. It has to be done and it’s super chill!

      I had the same experience yesterday. I was all worried about how it would go and it was over and done before I knew it without any ill effects at all. I think the worst of it was the numbing spray they sprayed in my throat before they started, it tasted awful

      @sweetfreeze5528 My dad said that it was a very rough night. He was supposed to take her, stay until she got settled in, then leave and return for discharge, but that plan went out of the window as soon as they got started. He ended up having to stay the entire time to try to comfort her because she was so miserable. They did manage to get enough results to conclude that she does have sleep apnea, but it wasn't easy for her at all.

    Watch this video yesterday cause I was nervous and the comments definitely helped. I just had my endoscopy done and it was so incredibly easy. I woke up thinking they hadn’t done it yet and they were done. I’m on my way home now and I feel fine! Just a little drowsy from the anesthesia , but nothing crazy. This was way easier than I’d thought it would be! Hope this eases someone’s nerves :)

    Just got my sleep study last night. I’m a stomach sleeper so had a very difficult time falling asleep on my back. About half way through, they allowed me to sleep on my side which I was thankful for. I probably slept about 5-6 hours so it wasn’t too bad ( I think my melatonin helped). Around 5:30 am they woke me up and I was able to go home. When I got home I slept for about 5 hours because it felt great to be back in my comfy bed and free from all the wires! For anyone worried, try and stay calm because it’s not too bad. I recommend taking a sleep aide which will help.

    I like her nose better before the procedure. It was more feminine and prettier. The bump was very, very slight and looked more petite. I've seen liquid rhinoplasty that worked well with much more pronounced humps and drooping tips.

    No biggie. They will put you “out” via sedation (I had Propofol & Versed) and you’ll have zero memory of the actual procedure. I remember just prior to the anesthetic and next thing I knew I was conscious & taking to my wife.

    I literally had one today at another facility. It was so intense and invasive. The sedative was not even through the IV tube before they started. I encouraged not to fight the doctor and to just let him force the tube down my throat. I came here to see if this experience was what should have happened. I’m so saddened this happened to me in this manner, as it certainly doesn’t appear to be the experience that should have occurred

    I have been suffering from digestive / gut issue for as long as i remember. Years back my doctor referred me to take endoscopy to find out what really is the issue because it keeps coming back. I was scheduled already and waiting for my turn, when suddenly my doctor had to undergo emergency to other patient and I was asked to wait for few hours until he finishes... Because i was having anxiety and super nervous, i took it as a chance to run away. Until now did not get it done because of my anxiety. but my gut issue just got worse and I'm scared it could be something serious. And im here checking how others may explain or share the experience. I am having anxiety not just because of the procedure but in general I always get so scared of having to experience something I know will hurt or give pain.

    I've got this phobia of endoscopy and colonoscopy whereby I don't be put to sleep. The Last time 12 years ago, I had the endoscopy while I was wide awake, I was vomiting profusely in the Theatre in the middle of my procedure also I was vomiting blood and this hasn't stopped about 2 months. I did at the time informed a complaint because what they've did was very dangerous. That is why now I am ever so nervous and worried because the doctor this week threatening me to have one and I have refused.

      ADD is no longer a medically used term. It’s just ADHD and different subtypes. ADD is now ADHD-PI (Primarily Inattentive). This is why you don’t hear about ADD anymore.

    • @user-pc6cw4zd3j
      @user-pc6cw4zd3j 4 місяці тому

      Yeah exactly as the guy above me said. ADHD is a neurodevelopment disorder (NDD), other NDD's are things such as tourettes syndrome or autism spectrum syndrome. ADHD can affect ur brain in so many different ways, Impulsivity, restlessness, being innatentive, anxiety and depression often come with it, something called starting paralysis when ur brain struggles to produce enough dopamine to give u enough motivation to do basic mundane tasks that u need to do but do not enjoy, a lot of people cant function well without medication, also self mdicating is very common using drugs or alcohol. NDD is basically a part of ADHD, its just that different people will show stronger symptoms of being innatentive and forgetfull for example which is what you could call ADD if that was still a medically used term.

    I've had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done 10 years ago but I avoided doing it for 6 years, any other treatment but these. Eventually I had no other option but to do it. What the heck was I so worried about! As I went in for treatment to get them both done at the same time I lay on the bed they ask me to count back from 10, and within 3 seconds I'm sound asleep, after the procedure I wake up feeling so good, so happy, peaceful. They give me some food and drink and I go home. 🙂
